There is a growing body of evidence that for the better part of a decade one political party used the tools of government power to investigate its political opponents. 

Former FBI Director James Comey, who escaped prosecution in Virginia for allegedly lying to Congress about his role in media leaks, has now been subpoenaed in Florida as part of the Russia Collusion conspiracy case.  

Comey’s testimony is part of the broader investigation into former CIA Director John Brennan, another architect of the Trump-Russia Collusion narrative that paved the way for a decade of investigations targeting Team Trump. 

The Comey subpoena is a clear escalation. His testimony is not without risk.  A potential perjury trap has been laid. 

All prosecutorial roads apparently lead to a Florida courtroom.
