Joe diGenova, counselor to the Attorney General, led the Florida “grand conspiracy” investigation into Obama and Biden-era officials who, prosecutors alleged, advanced the Russia-collusion narrative.

The inquiry also examined the 2022 Mar-a-Lago search.

diGenova’s resignation Thursday seemed abrupt, but I understand tension with Justice Department leadership in Washington D.C. had been building for months.

It apparently began under then–Attorney General Pam Bondi.
